SUMMARY:Aluminum Can Flowers
DESCRIPTION:Join us in turning aluminum cans into decorative flowers for a fun display anywhere. You will be working with scissors, clippers, paint, and hot glue.  Please make sure to wear comfortable clothing that you wouldn’t mind getting paint on. In addition, extra caution and patience is required for this project due to the potential sharpness while cutting and forming flowers with cut cans.  (Photograph of aluminum flowers are the work of Karan Simoni, The Art Junk Gypsy, via Pinterest.)\nThis series of Upcycling University classes is designed for differently-abled Upcyclers, ages 16 and up, who can follow instructions with occasional support. Don’t worry about having art experience, just come with a great attitude ready to make friends and have fun!\nImportant Health Information:\nClass will be in-person and physically distanced. Each student will be provided with their own supplies to minimize contact. All supplies will be sanitized between sessions. Temperature check and hand washing will be done before entering the Upcycling Lab. Masks are required for all participants.\n\nWaiver must be signed to participate.\n
